About

Leonie Sundmacher graduated from the University of York in 2006 with a MSc in Health Economics and from the Free University Berlin in 2008 with a MA in Political Science. After working for the Health Economics Research Group at Brunel University in London, she joined the Department of Health Care Management in Berlin to work as senior research fellow. In 2009 Leonie completed her PhD in Health Economics at the Berlin University of Technology. Three years later she was appointed Professor for Economics of Primary Care. Since October 2013 Leonie is the head of the Department of Health Services Management at LMU Munich. Her main research interests are management in health care, quality management and regional health care research.
