Accountable Care in Deutschland

The research project “ATP physician networks - Division of labor and performance of empirical and organized networks in the ambulatory care sector in Germany” aims to analyze the division of labor and the performance in organized networks in comparison to the regular supply of healthcare in Germany.

The research project “Cardiolotse” targets patients suffering from chronic heart disease. The new healthcare model aims at improving follow-up treatment after a hospital stay.

FLS-CARE

In the research project “Fracture Liaison Service“ (FLS-CARE) multidisciplinary networks are built in order to establish an integrated care approach and to close the prevention gap for patients suffering from a fragility hip fracture. FOR2723

Being part of the DFG research group “FOR2723” the department of health services management analyzes social inequalities in the use of health care services within children and adolescents.

KARDIO-Studie

The “KARDIO study” analyzes the need and economic efficiency of left-heart catheters in Germany. The aim of the research project is to improve the long-term indication quality of cardiac catheterization and thus to increase the quality of health care for the patients.

The research project “Making SDM a reality” comprises a full implementation of shared decision making processes in hospitals and aims to improve the communication between physicians and patients and to strengthen the patients‘ health competence.

The “MobilE-PRO” project aims to develop an innovative method for decision support in preoperative outpatients with osteoarthritis and to enable patient benefit-based evaluations of treatment pathways.

Within the “TeleDerm” research project the department for health services management conducts the economic evaluation for the developed innovative telemedical model for dermatological care.

TEMPiS – GÖA

The research project “TEMPiS – GÖA” evaluates the cost-effectiveness- and cost-utility-ratio of a mobile intervention team used in the treatment of ischemic stroke patients in rural areas. The patients are approached by helicopter and the mobile intervention team operates since 2018 in the southeast of Bavaria. Read more about the project on our German page.

WirtMed

In the “WirtMed study” new procedures are being developed and tested, with which the associations of statutory health insurance physicians and the statutory health insurance can examine the efficiency and quality of drug prescriptions in future and control them in a meaningful way.
